In a friendship if one party is actually in love with the other one then this friendship is in question. The only chance is that some day luckily it will be naturally “upgraded” to love relationship. I would suggest you to temporarily forget her, not even call her to say hi because it’s not a true friendship and in your heart you still love her. Your friendship is a lie. Tell her this. Tell her you are suffering. Tell her you don’t want to hurt her but keeping in touch with her just as a friend hurt you. Let her make a choice. So some day she may date with other guy and you may fall in love with other girl. At that time if you both think it’s still necessary for you to be friends then you are friends, but I think at that time neither of you will be actually interested in friendship idea. Or some day after dating with other guys or girls you both finally find you still love each other then you become lovers. This chance is rare but it can happen when a shy girl like her finally finds where her true feeling lies. Anyway if she indeed doesn’t and will never love you then even if you date with her it will only hurt you. Forget her.
