In Love
My partner says he loves me, and I asked him if he was in love with me, and he said no. He has been married twice before, and he said he has never been in love with anyone. He has been hurt in the past, and I dont know if this is a barrier he is putting up. I have no doubt he loves me, and he always tells me why didnt we meet years ago. But I am very hurt that he says he is not in love with me.

Is it that important if he says that he loves you or that he is in love with you?
Stay away from any man who says he's NEVER been in love. He means it and is probably a sociopath - read up on it. He means what he says and it doesn't mean "I've never been in love before...YOU" He means he has not loved and will not love. EVER. Run away from this leech. He will try to live off your emotions, he will mimic what he THINKS is in-love behaviour. Then he will DUMP you.
Run away NOW.
