Valentine’s Day is one of those big holidays in elementary school. It’s a day to teach students about love. Students exchange Valentine’s Day card to show their love for their schoolmates and teachers. Every child drew, painted and prepared their own Valentine card box with their name written on front. At the end of the Valentine’s day each kid happily brings back home the Valentine card box full of the Valentine cards with valentine poem they received from their schoolmates. This Valentine card box is growing up with the kid together. Every year a new Valentine card box with new Valentine cards is added in. These Valentine cards are filled up with friendship showing the growth of the kids. The ritual continues each year till middle school.
It’s a warm custom. It builds love in those little hearts when they are so innocent and angelic.
