If he can never talk to you about how he feels, you will need to talk to him about how you feel then tell him you want him to express how he feels he will follow up.
When he plays head games, just let him be and don't take things too seriously. He can't change his personality. If you are able to know his meaning something else, then satisfy him and let him get what he really wants, he will be happy and love you more.
