Explain the situation to your boyfriend and suggest not to contact each other for a few months. Give all of you (boyfriend, father and yourself) a few months to calm down and review this issue later.
I never believe a person in love has the ability to make wise decision. The only rule he or she obeys is the word “love”. What is love? Your own momentary happiness? Great love means a person’s own happiness is the greatest? I think the greatest love is to love others and to make others happy.
If a father would rather kill himself than seeing his daughter go with her boyfriend, then there are definitely reasons and problems a person in love is not able to see.
Unfortunately, love is the most fragile illusion that requires the best environment to grow and survive; you might not be rich enough to possess this most expensive luxury. A father’s unconditional love and real life are apparently more worthwhile for you to treasure.
